Hi,
I would like to show a pop-up or give a warning somehow (could be text somewhere on screen, etc.) about Tax-Exemption when user enters a specific state (Texas for example) on Checkout page.
I’m also a web developer and I can change the code as well but I’m not familiar how Shopify works on this subject.
Could you please help me with this situation?

After your suggestion, I have tried different third party apps such as “Popper”, “OptiMonk: Website Personalizer”, “Proof Bear - Sales Popup”, and “EcomSend Pop Ups, Email Popups”. None of them works on checkout page and none of them have an option of selecting a state as a target user.
I believe the reason popups do not work on checkout page is security. They work on other pages but do not work on checkout page.
I downloaded “1ClickPopup” and set it to my cart page. They have a country option as a selection but they don’t have state option as well.
This app could work but if you have a better solution I would love to hear it from you.
