Adjusting sold out overlay opacity & design

When my product quantity gets to 0, I don’t want it completely obscured by the sold out sign.

The opacity needs to be transparent and the sold out sign needs to located at the bottom right of the product. I’m sure this exists in another theme, so could be copied?

Any help appreciated.
