Afterpay - Not working for NZ IP Address Customers?

I hope you all are well!

Wanted to ask as we have an urgent issue happening on our store.

Right now when any customers in NZ go onto our website, and through to check out Afterpay doesn’t show up. When looking into this it is because my store was changing currency to match the customer’s location and that Afterpay only worked when the store was in AUD and would self-convert the currency at checkout.

When removing currency selector as well as Geo-Location. I am still getting the same problem, I just asked a friend in NZ to shop through to check out and the same issue happened with the store being in NZ and afterpay not showing up.

Another friend deleted his browser history and then the store converted to AUD.

But surely I can’t have customers deleting browser history to then go onto our AUS store?

Would love any help community on this as this is a current problem of ours and Afterpay take 3-5 business days to reply.

Hey Hayley, the only resolution I could find was to go on my Shopify store, go to Markets and change the currency in markets to AUD and remove GEO tracking. This way customers can only view the store in AUD. It sucks but haven’t found another option yet! Let me know if you do! haha
