I recently set up my website which sells supplements (NOT CBD) and upon research understood Shopify will not allow you to use Shopify payments for this purpose. I signed up for Bankful based on the list of recommendations and Bankful’s website shows Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay integrations.

I do not see this as an option when I installed Bankful payment gateway, only if Shopify Payments is active.

Is there a solution for this? Is Apple/G Pay only available on Shopify payments? If I deselect Visa, MC, Amex, Discover and leave Diner’s Club checked (which will likely rarely get used), can I then leave Apple Pay/G Pay active and accept payments that way? Or only Apple Pay? Without Shopify freezing my account or funds?

Apple Pay says they accept supplement payments but Shopify seems to be the one with the issue with it and it looks like Apple Pay is only accessible if you have Shopify payments.

Can anyone help me with a solution? It’s almost 2024 and it’s going to be difficult to run a functioning business in this day and age without the trust factor of these payment options.
