Hi everyone,
I’m new to Shopify so sorry if this has been answered before. I searched the forums but couldn’t find anything. My site is a handmade pottery site (www.lilyandsophia.com) and we have 9 different products, each coming in 6 different colours. The colours have been labelled as variants within the 9 products.
I have set up variant (colour) filters in my product pages (best example here, I’m still editing and uploading), which works well because the images on the product cards change to match the colour selection, and then when a product is clicked, that colour variant is automatically selected on the purchase page.
However, when I make a collection for a particular colour (done using the automatic selection, variant text “contains” [the colour I want]), the same does not happen. The image goes back to the default image for that product, which doesn’t match the collection.
My question is: When I create a collection (e.g. here), can I turn on a filter automatically, so all the correct images are shown in the collection, and the click-through option is the correct colour?
THANK YOU!
(PS, not all the products have all the photos added to the colours yet. Just the plates and some bowls.)
(PPS - don’t judge the photos, they are test photos while I get the website up and running )
