Hello everyone,

Which app do you use for the automatic import of your supplier orders?

Are the items created with the order import if they do not exist yet, or do they need to be created beforehand?

EZ Importer? Stocky?

Or do you have any other suggestions?

If you’re looking for an app to automatically import supplier purchase orders, EZ Importer is a solid choice. It allows bulk order imports, but products need to be created beforehand. Stocky (by Shopify) is great for inventory management but works best with Shopify POS.

If you need an app to automatically make products if they don’t already exist, check out Syncee or Orderhive. Both will sync supplier catalogs and auto-POs. Matrixify is another general-purpose bulk import option.

It’s whatever way your supplier provides data (CSV, API, etc.), so the right app to use is based on your workflow

Are you asking is it possible to do the following:

  1. Please order from wholesaler supplied.
  2. Download copy of invoice/convert to csv.
  3. Import that into Purchase Order so you do not have to manually sit there and painfully create a purchase order by hand, or add inventory by hand?

No, not possible. Absolutely ridiculous this isn’t possible. If anyone knows of a way, let us know.

I don’t want to have to download a csv, edit it, and upload it.

I want to purchase from one of my 5 wholesale suppliers (4 that are also on Shopify), and use their invoice to create a purchase order in my inventory section so I don’t have to manually do it.. and I don’t want to pay $175 a month to do it.

It shouldn’t be that hard.
