B2B mods needed

I am currently setting up B2B Markets and need the ability to support our three-tier wholesale pricing program.

Each wholesale tier has different qualification criteria and corresponding pricing benefits. All three tiers offer discount-based pricing, but the discount percentage varies depending on the customer’s assigned tier.

The structure I need is:

  • Tier 1 Market – Assigned Discount Level #1
  • Tier 2 Market – Assigned Discount Level #2
  • Tier 3 Market – Assigned Discount Level #3

The challenge I am encountering is that the current setup appears to restrict a product to only one market. This does not work for our wholesale program because the same products need to be available across all three markets, with only the pricing/discount changing based on the customer’s assigned tier.

Ideally, I need to be able to:

  1. Include the same product catalog in all three B2B markets.
  2. Establish a different percentage-based discount or pricing strategy for each market.
  3. Assign each wholesale customer/account to the appropriate market based on their approved dealer tier.
  4. Have the system automatically display and apply the correct pricing when that customer logs into their B2B account.
  5. Allow a product to participate in multiple markets simultaneously, rather than requiring the product to belong exclusively to one market.

For example, Product A should be available to customers in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. The product itself remains the same; only the customer’s approved discount changes based on the market/tier assigned to their account.

The goal is to maintain one centralized product catalog while using B2B Markets to control customer-specific pricing according to our three-tier wholesale program.

Hi @sywoodworking.com Welcome To Shopify Community So This sounds like it’s actually a Catalogs setup rather than Markets, Shopify B2B is built around Catalogs (Settings > B2B or Customer accounts), not separate Markets, for exactly this scenario. Instead of using regional Markets to control tiered pricing, create three separate Catalogs (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3), each with its own Price List applying the correct discount percentage. The same products can be added to all three Catalogs simultaneously, Shopify doesn’t restrict a product to one catalog only, so your centralized catalog concern is solved by design here. Then assign each wholesale customer’s Company Location to the appropriate Catalog under their B2B account settings, and Shopify automatically shows and applies the correct tier pricing when that specific customer logs in, since pricing is resolved per catalog assignment, not per product. If you’re currently trying to do this through regional Markets instead of B2B Catalogs, that’s likely why you’re hitting the one-market restriction, Markets are meant for currency/region localization, not tiered wholesale pricing logic. Hope this helps solve your problem, and if it does, don’t forget to like and mark it as the solution. Thank you!

Thank you, I will look into this
