A merchant is seeking a Shopify app that allows customers to add product page add-ons to cart with a single click on an individual “ADD” button, without requiring them to also click the main product’s add-to-cart button. The merchant has tried One Click Upsells but found it requires two clicks, and wants to avoid reformatting their existing product page layout.
Recommended solutions include:
Selly – Displays bundles below the add-to-cart form (Amazon-style) with one-click add functionality and customizable product groups
BiSell Upsell & Cross-Sell – Offers AJAX-powered individual add buttons for each add-on product, preserving existing layout with free setup assistance
BOGOS – Features “Frequently Bought Together” with one-click add-on functionality
Easify Product Options – Bundles main product and add-ons together when clicking the main add-to-cart button (single click for both)
Other suggestions mentioned: Frequently Bought Together, Bold Upsell, ReConvert, Cross Sell & Upsell Popup, iCart, and Fast Bundle. The discussion remains open with multiple viable options presented but no final decision indicated.

Hey guys.
I am trying to find an app to sell add-on products on my product page. I want the process to be as simple as clicking on the “ADD” button adds the add-on product to the cart. NOT the add to cart button for the main product.
I have yet to find an app close to this for whatever reason you have to click add and then click the main products add to cart to then add both products.
I’m not really looking to reformat this upsell either as the add to cart button is in a great place and I don’t want to put anything above it and I have icons below it so it’s not as simple as just putting the upsell above the add to cart button like the support has told me to do.
My most recent attempt was with One Click Upsells but what I’m looking to do is actually a two click upsell for their app. Any suggestions?
We primarily use Cross Sell & Upsell Popup, which focuses on popups. For our clients, it adds an additional 20% to their revenue and significantly increases AOV.
It sounds like you’re looking for a solution to add-on products that work seamlessly without disrupting your current product page layout. I understand how frustrating it can be when apps don’t match your needs.
I’d like to suggest iCart – Cart Drawer Cart Upsell as a solution! While iCart primarily focuses on upsells and cross-sells in the cart drawer, it also offers the flexibility to customize how you want add-on products to be displayed and added to the cart.
Here’s how iCart can solve your problem:
Non-Intrusive Design: iCart’s customization options ensure you won’t need to reformat your current product page layout. The upsell suggestions can live in a way that complements your design.
User-Friendly Setup: This setup is simple, and you won’t need to mess with coding or design changes to get the functionality you’re looking for.

It sounds like you’re looking for a way to sell accessories/add‑on items on the product page without forcing customers to click the main product’s Add‑to‑Cart button first. One option to consider is BiSell Upsell & Cross‑Sell, which is built specifically for scenarios like this.
BiSell lets you embed a small upsell widget on the product page. You can configure it as a list, grid, or carousel and pick which add‑on products to show. Each item has its own Add button, so when a customer clicks that button, the add‑on goes straight into the cart via AJAX—there’s no need to click the main product’s Add‑to‑Cart button. This keeps your existing layout intact and avoids the “two‑click” issue you described. For bundled offers, the app also includes a “Frequently Bought Together” widget that lets shoppers add multiple related products at once.
The app supports automatic product recommendations, multiple languages/currencies, and uses embedded widgets and checkout extensions to deliver both pre‑purchase and post‑purchase upsells. If you’d like help setting it up in a very specific location on your product page (e.g., below existing icons), BiSell’s team provides free setup assistance via Google Meet, chat, or email.
I recommend checking out the BOGOS app (free gift, bundles, upsell, discount). BOGOS can do exactly what you’re looking for with its “Frequently Bought Together” feature, that allowing customers to add add-on products to the cart with just one click, without needing to hit the main product’s Add to Cart button.
One way to handle add-on products is to use Easify Product Options. It’s a no-code, easy-to-use app that lets you set up add-ons so that when a customer clicks the main Add to Cart button once, both the main product and the selected add-on(s) are added to the cart together.
I’m not sure if this is exactly what you need, but it’s a good option to check out. Here’s how it works:
