Blury Banners on Prestige Theme

Topic summary

Issue: Banner images in the Shopify Prestige theme appear blurry after upload. Images were created in Canva; product images look fine, but banners lose quality. Resizing attempts did not help, and the launch is imminent.

Requested info: The responder asked for the store URL and, if the store is password-protected, the password to review the live banner behavior.

Suggested steps:

  • Export banners from Canva at the highest quality settings.
  • Try alternative file formats (PNG vs. JPEG) to compare results.
  • Match the banner image to the theme’s recommended dimensions to avoid scaling/compression.

Context: No screenshots or files were provided. The issue seems isolated to banners, not product images, suggesting a theme sizing/compression or format mismatch.

Status: Unresolved/ongoing. Awaiting the store URL and access details from the poster. Next actions are to share access, verify export quality, test formats, and ensure dimensions align with Prestige’s banner specifications.
