Hi there Id like to know how I can have each buy now button for each product with a different link. As Im promoting different products with diffrent affiliate links Id like to know can my buy now buttons all be different links or can it only use one link for all the buy now buttons ? if theres a way to have my buy now buttons have different links please dont hesitate to teach me. Im always open to learn.

Shopify’s default functionality doesn’t allow individual “Buy Now” buttons to link to different affiliate URLs for each product. However, there are a couple of workarounds you can explore to achieve your goal:

1. Edit Theme Code:

  • Process: You’ll need to locate the template file responsible for product pages and the “Buy Now” button code. Then, edit the code to dynamically link each button based on the product information (e.g., product ID).

  • Considerations: This approach requires knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language and theme editing best practices. A small coding error could disrupt your store’s functionality.

2. Use a Third-Party App:

  • The Shopify App Store offers various apps that can add custom buttons and functionalities to your product pages. Search for apps related to “custom buttons” or “affiliate links.”

Hi Richard.

Thanks for the feedback I however found an easier solution.

Since I’m familiar with coding I just added add a buy now button in each product description linking it with its unique affiliate/product link.

I hope this helps others too. I have played around with Shopify for a day and must say it’s actually very easy and straightforward.
