My store is asking me to submit more details to accept payments but I have none of the information that they are asking for a passport or a utility bill etc. I’m only 16 am I even allowed to be using shopify and if I am is there a work around for the information side of things?

Great news to hear you have started a Shopify store! This is a great question and one I trust to provide some insight on.
As per our terms of service below, you must be at least 18 years old to operate a Shopify store. This is stated in point 1.2 of the Shopify Terms of Service. In your case, your parents would need to take over account ownership and provide their billing and credit card details. They can then make you a staff member on the store. Learn more about that here.
