Can a payout app auto-send funds to another PayPal account?

Hello Community!

I am planning on running a store where I design shirts and merchandise for others and they will receive part of the payout.

Is there an app that will automatically send a partial payout to another PayPal account when certain items are sold or would I just have to do this manually?

Thanks!

Hi @StrideSports ,

If you are referring to the Shopify Payouts that collect in Shopify Payments and release into your bank account, it’s not possible to split them among multiple accounts directly from within Shopify’s admin. However, there is third-party options available through our App store. Check out Vendor Payout.

The app boasts the ability to:

  • Assign each vendor a percentage or fixed amount of your sales.
  • Setup Cost of Goods and custom deductions for each product or SKU.
  • Auto-calculate all orders that contain a vendor product.
  • Run custom reports filtered by dates, vendors, products, or order status.
  • Create logins for your vendors so they can view your current sales.

And more. Although the fee is $30/month, you can utilize the 7-day free trial to see if it’s worth the investment for you. As an alternate, you could open a joint business account that you can both access and simply transfer your chosen percentage of the funds after each scheduled payout has been deposited. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the help!

Absolutely happy to help.

I’d be interested in learning more about this business model!

How are you finding the process of building your store so far? Have you run into any pain points I might be able to assist with?

Pretty good so far!

I’m using Buddha Mega Menu Navigation, which I saw from another discussion thread, and it has been very good!

I am manually doing the payouts as of now, fuel and printful do a very good job of breaking down costs and shipping.

One pain point I have is trying to create a page that has certain collections. I would like to create a page that has the clickable collection images like on the home page.

Another way I could accomplish this is putting collections inside collections perhaps.

I would appreciate any insight!

Thank you,
