when we get a quad we fix quad with parts like tyres , light , brake service oil add to quad we need able had parts to quad sell all threw but need stock item to be taking out stock whats fitted on quad but when go sell quad it just needs be quad name not list parts with it on receipt
second trouble is when quad is in for repair we add customer name quad type add repair items to it and sell through we can not put it in save cart too many quads are repaired on a weeks base

We too have a need for this.
We need to use “draft orders” in a more useful way somehow.
We need to start with a “quote”
containing customer information and unit information
Add “products” parts
Add Labor and be able to adjust price on the fly (priced per hour) and to add less than “1” ex. 0.75, 1.5, 1.25 ect.
A Quote would have no effect on inventory or accounting
Once a customer accepts a “quote” we would need to make that a “work order”
Same info but at this point any “inventory Tracked Products” would need to be “reserved” and subtracted from current inventory.
Once repairs are complete then we would need to “order” Invoice. At that point products would be “fulfilled” and accounting recorded. the ability to “pick up” a order in “shopify POS” to process the payment would be preferred also
The “forms” quote, work order, invoice, would need to be customizable as to add legal info and a signature line.
Please contact me if there is a way to do this without a large expense
