Can customers purchase products from different inventories in two stores?

Hello,

I have two Shopify stores that have their individual inventories of products.

I want a customer to be able to pull (purchase) a particular product from another inventory from a store.

For example

Shop A w/Inventory A.

Shop B w/Inventory B.

Both shops have each other’s products.

The customer purchases a product from Shop A, but it can pull the product from Inventory B.

Is that possible?

Thank you,

Hi, @funkeadeniji .

I hope your day is going well, and welcome to the Shopify community! While this cannot be achieved natively within Shopify, it can be done with an app such as Multi-Store Sync Power.

When deciding on an app, I recommend looking for great ratings. Browsing the reviews on an app can be a great way to learn more about what the app offers, and how other businesses have benefited from using the app.

Also, keep in mind that most apps offer a free trial period, so that you can test it out before committing. If you decide to not use the app, just ensure that you delete it from your apps before the trial ends to avoid getting charged.

In the meantime, I would love to hear more about your business, and why you chose to have the same products in both store, yet maintain the inventory separately! There could potentially be a better solution.
