Can I create a separate portal for our dealers to purchase through?

We sell direct to consumer (D2C) on our website and at our HQ. But we also have an extensive network of retail dealers that carry our products across the USA (B2C). Our dealers are able to purchase our products at a discounted rate compared to our main customers (B2B), so they obviously don’t purchase on our website. Right now when a dealer wants to place an order, they have to call us and we submit it manually.

We are wondering if there is a way (or an app) to set up a “dealer portal” on our website, so that a dealer can create a log in with an email and password, and once we verify them, and they are logged in, would gain access to a “dealer storefront” where they can submit their P.O.'s easily online (minimum $3,000 order) and have access to their special dealer pricing. Is this at all possible?

How would they purchase items from your store? Would they follow the regular process of adding items to the cart (with special dealer pricing and minimum purchase requirements) and then checking out, or do they need to submit a purchase order (PO) document?

I am seeing that is a shopify plus only feature, are there any options or apps to do this without shopify plus?

I would highly recommend looking at the Sparklayer B2B app, they can integrate directly into your existing DTC site to create a blended DTC/B2B site and has features such as custom pricing, order minimums, sales agent ordering (for customers who still call in their orders), and much more.
