Can I download HTML code from Email App templates?

Hi guys,

I just started using the Shopify email app and I noticed that you can create an email from scratch using HTML code.

Is it possible to download the HTML code of a Email App templates, In order to don’t start from zero?

If so, how can I do it?

Hi, @Luca123 !

Our Shopify Email structure is designed to be user friendly and the existing templates do not have front facing access to the HTML code. You could use the inspect tool from your browser to view the code available for any given template however I’m not certain that the full extent of it would be available. I will leave this open to other developers to weigh in.

however, I don’t understand how you can code your own custom template if you don’t know how you can interact with Shopify dynamic fields/elements.
that’s why I was tempting to access to the templates code
