Can I make my own options that always show up in the product editor, like color and size do?

I sell watches. And I want to be able to list the watches’ condition as an option.

When you go to create a product now, it has some standard options you can select:

  • size
  • color
  • material
  • style.

I know how to add my own custom option for condition by simply typing in “condition” for every new product. Is there a way I can modify the editor so that “condition” is one of the pre-set options, like size, color, material, and style?

And if so, is there a way to take it a step further and already have the option values set? Like could I have it automatically have the options as:

  • New
  • Refurbished
  • Used

First, identify what theme your using. Then look up the company website for information about how to edit or add elements or (in your case) conditions to the object. I use Impulse 5.1, so I just google search my theme and what I want to do.

Other option is an app that allows you to add other options. I used Product Personalizer to configure a Monogram to put on one of our items. Hope this helps.
