I would like to sell products from another company on my shopify site. The other companies also use shopify. Can I link their products to my site and they fulfill the orders?
We list their product
When clicked to purchase, the order goes in their system
While that is technically possible, given that the other store agreed to this, it will require a lot of manual work to import products, fulfil orders, handle returns etc.
Do you think you can find products that this store sells on dropshipping apps such as DSers or similar? These dropshipping apps let you sell products by using a supplier that holds the inventory and ships the product for you. You pay the wholesale price to the supplier, while controlling the selling price that your customers see in your Shopify store. The great thing about it is that most of the product is automated - such as importing products (images, descriptions, price etc) or fulfilling orders all with couple of clicks.
We have a great dropshipping guide here. What kind of products you want to resell from this store?
No, I don’t think so. What I am hoping for is to somehow link to product listings on the other Shopify site so that they show up on my site. When A customer clicks to purchase, they would be purchasing from the other vendor and we would get credit for the sale. Is this possible?
@Iris I am actually keen on exploring something similar to @RobinLisa on my shopify store and I’m curious on how we can sell a product from another Shopify vendor’s site on my store. I understand that this may require manual work but could you please help outline the steps here?
