Can I temporarily hide a menu item instead of deleting it?

I know how to delete a menu item. But I don’t want to delete it, i want to make it temporarily invisible. Can I do that?

In this case, you can use CSS to hide it such as:

display: none

visibility: hidden;

Or

opacity: 0;
