Free themes also have the option of uploading videos on products.

It is not an issue.

You definitely can update in the free theme but you have to meet some requirements below:

  • The video length is up to 10 minutes
  • The video size is up to 1 GB
  • The video resolution is up to 4K (4096 x 2160 px)
  • The video file type is mp4 or mov

Besides, there are several free themes by Shopify that support videos on your online store, not all free themes, so make sure you will check the help doc here to learn more about this.
