Can I use a UK address for PayPal on a Pakistani Shopify account?

Hello everyone,

I am Faisal Akbar from Pakistan, I want to buy a Shopify subscription using my Pakistani bank and use my UK address to use PayPal, Stripe, etc as these services are not available in Pakistan.

Is it possible?

Please help me.

Great question! I can definitely understand the desire to be able to use major payment gateways like Stripe or Shopify Payments or PayPal on your store.

Since Stripe is one of our banking partners, their terms of service are quite similar to Shopify Payments and the requirements for activating an account for a country outside of your main business location can be a bit tricky.

For Stripe you will most likely need a bank account located in the UK (not a virtual bank account) and proof of business registration to ensure your business is a legal entity. Stripe support will be able to assist you further with this if you have additional questions on your eligibility.
