Can I use sales revenue to fulfill a customer's order?

A quick question i have is about fulfilment. If someone places and order for 19.99 on my product and i need to fulfill the order, can i use the amount i made: 19.99 to buy the product

Hi @alexpepera

Welcome to the Shopify Community Forums!

To clarify your question, are you talking about the best way to fulfill items when you are dropshipping or using a print on demand service? If yes, then you can absolutely use the payment from the customer to pay for the product from the supplier. There may be a few days delay between when the customer pays for the product and when the product arrives in your account. So it’s important to keep that in mind when providing your fulfillment time for orders.

If that wasn’t what you are asking, or if you need more clarification, please don’t hesitate to share more details about your setup and what you are attempting to do.

Would this mean that i have to cashout the 19.99 to a certain payment options then fulfill the order? Or can i just use the 19.99 in shopify after someone places an order

The customer payment would be deposited into your bank account and then you could use those funds to pay for the items from the supplier.

The customer payment to you and your payment to the supplier are two separate transactions that take place independent of each other.
