Hi,
is there a way to use Shopify plugins / apps such as delivery date picker or Split, even if I am hosting the website on an different platform (i.e. Webflow)? I am connecting the two using the Buy button but I lose access to all the plugins. If there is no way to use the plugins with the Buy Button, is there an alternative way to integrate the two platforms (Webflow and Shopify) so that I can still use Shopify plugins?
from what i’ve seen, when you’re using the buy button from shopify on something like webflow, you’re kinda only getting the basic storefront and checkout. Most apps (like delivery date pickers or split stuff) usually depend on the full Shopify cart and theme, so they don’t really work in that setup
i could be wrong but i haven’t really seen solid way to make those apps run through the buy button. It’s kinda one of the limitations when you go with that approach
if those features matter a lot for your store, usually people end up moving the actual buying flow back into shopify and just use webflow for design orlanding pages, there’s also more custom or headless route with APIs but even then, a lot of apps still won’t plug in cleanly
so yeah, it’s doable for simple setups but once you need app features, it gets a bit tricky
