Can Shopify gift cards be used in-store with Lightspeed?

We currently use both Shopify and Lightspeed. If we purchase gift cards through Shopify, can they be used in store with Lightspeed.

Thanks for posting to the forums!

Unfortunately, you aren’t able to use Shopify Gift Cards with the Lightspeed Gateway. In order to use Shopify Gift Cards in person you will need to use Shopify Hardware as well as Shopify Payments.

Are you currently looking at POS options? If so, our Retail Team would be more than happy to walk you through Shopify’s POS system.

We’ve developed Wrapped gift cards to do exactly this - You can sell and accept gift cards in-store (via Lightspeed) and online (via Shopify)
