i’m building a showit website which integrates with shopify but i’m wondering if shopify acts as its own storefront? meaning, i dont want to build an entire shopify website - can i link my site to a product page directly? where customers can immediately see a list of the products and checkout from there?

Yes, you can link your Showit website to a product page directly on Shopify. Shopify provides an embeddable Buy Button that allows you to add products to any website or blog.
To set this up, you would need to generate an embed code for the Buy Button from within your Shopify account. This code can then be added to your Showit website through the Embed element. The Buy Button sales channel is included in all Shopify subscription plans.
Customers would be able to see a list of your products and add them to their cart directly from your Showit website. When they’re ready to check out, they’ll be taken to Shopify’s checkout process to complete their purchase.

hey! thanks so much for the reply but im asking something different. im not sure how to word this LOL. i’ve embedded products on my showit site before which i found really time consuming and it didnt look good. what i want is for customers to be directed to a shopify store front off my website. so they leave my site and go to a shopify product page with all the products listed right there.
is there such thing as just a product page or do i need to make an entire shopify site? thank you!!
Technically, you might be able to create something like this, but it might get just a little complex.

excuse my lack of language to get clear on this. is this not as simple as making a single-paged website on shopify that has all the products right there? no menu, no extra pages, just a page with products?
Yes, exactly! And you could also add a “Add to Cart” button for each product, taking away the need for a product page, and a customer could go straight to checkout.
