The Narrative theme has a “Featured Slider” with a static featured image while a rotating vertical slider slides through products. Is this specific slider available to put into other themes? Any apps, suggestions? All are welcome, thanks!

No, every theme has its own functionality and design. Most themes come with sliders but their functionality and design differ. Although, you can have the exact same Featured-slider using custom code, for this you’ll need developer assistance.
