We would like to understand how we can customize the Order Management App so that we can use IBM Sterling Order Management instead of the Shopify Order management. In other words, we want to only use Shopify for the shopping cart and once an order is submitted, we want it to drop into IBM Sterling Order Management for orchestrating the order fulfillment processes including Address Verification, Fraud Validation, and other potential HOLD processes, before order drops to the warehouses for fulfillment. IBM OMS will basically replace the Order Management App.
We would also like to replace the Inventory Management App in Shopify and instead us the IBM Sterling Inventory Visibility App to track inventory supply and demand.
We’re just wondering if this is technically feasible, and in general, how this could be accomplished.
