Cannot get Theme Object with Liquid in Theme App Extension

I have detected an issue with Theme App Extension.

The “theme” liquid object seems to return null.

I’m trying to get the theme.id value but in all cases it returns an empty value.

Is this a known bug with the Theme App Extension?

Theme app extensions don’t have access to the following Liquid objects:

• content_for_header
• content_for_index
• content_for_layout
• section
• settings
• theme
