Can't remove the sale button next to the price, what to do?

Hello, ive been on this for a long time and i cant remove the sale button next to the price no matter how much i try, ive tried adding this .card__badge {display: none;} at the bottom of the component-card.css file and so much more that 50 different shopify support calls have told me but nothing works. Please help
