Category/SubCategory Layout

Topic summary

A new store owner created subcategories following a YouTube tutorial, but these now show up as separate links in the site’s header navigation. The preference is to display subcategories within the Collections area, specifically nested under “All Categories,” rather than as standalone header items.

Example provided: in the header, “Men’s Accessories” has a working dropdown (the desired behavior), but the user wants this entire structure to live under “All Categories” to avoid a crowded, phone‑directory‑like header. A site URL was shared for reference.

Request: guidance on configuring navigation so subcategories are nested under “All Categories”/Collections instead of appearing as top‑level header links. No solution or actions have been confirmed yet; the thread remains open with the key question unresolved.

HI, Newbie here, I followed a YouTube video explaining how to create sub categories, that worked, but that sub category now displays in my header, I want it to be in the Collections section, otherwise I will end up with a never ending group of subcategories in my header, can anyone offer any help please?

Firstly thank you for taking the time to reply.

If you look along the header there is a link to “Men’s Accessories” there is a drop down there which is just what I wanted to achieve. However, I ideally want it under “All Categories”.

If each time I create sub categories my header will look like a phone directory.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you
