Change background gradient and remove extra space between swections

Hi

I have been trying to customise my Ride Theme page. Cant seem the change the overall website background to a gradient colour. There are also black colour blocks between sections. How do I make sure theres no space between header / collection list etc.. or make it the same colour as the background
