Change color in Taste theme SlideShow Bar

I use the Taste theme and cannot seem to figure out how to change the color of the navigation bar. Have looked at multiple forms and tried editing the code but still no success.

Looking to change the white bar that holds the slide show navigation to the gradient above (or a solid color if gradient is not possible).

Any advice?
