Change default Text in search bar

My store: danlo.in

In search bar i have the text as “search” i want to change it to something else like tshirts, watches,etc.." how can i do that? also when one clicks search bar to search the label shall be hidden for that time on mobile and desktop as wll

Follow these Steps:

  1. Go to Online Store

  2. Edit Code

  3. Find theme.liquid file

  4. Add the following code in the bottom of the file above tag

That works fine but when i click to search something i want that text to hide at that time
