Hi. I have a little issue regarding the native “square” setting for the collection product-grid for Dawn 2.0.
We will be importing product-pictures from multiple suppliers who use different ratios for the given product - i would like the pictures to be 1:1 ratio, which can be done with the square setting - however this crops the pictures leaving the product unrecognisable.
Is there a line of code that can add white frames to the sides/top-bottom (depending on widened or heightened ratio), that will make it have the 1:1 ratio instead of just cropping - so that the whole product is visible and intact.
Have linked pictures showcasing the issue. Thanks in advance
The picture is cropped and unrecognizable.
For dresses and sets like this, the ratio will be too large, and it would be amazing if the costumer could see the entire product as shown.
Alternatively, if there was some code that could make the images “intertwined”, so that the smaller pictures wouldn´t just all start below the long picture, causing the gap, but instead just fill the space showing up below the smaller pictures, and then other pictures below the long again after that. That could look great as well.
Best regards, Clemens
If the intertwined setting is easier to set up, actually i would love this equally as much.
Think it could give the site a characteristic look.
Thanks once again

@GemPages
It is both on the front-page and one of the collections, we have only added a few products besides our own brands jewelry (which is 1:1 pictures), to show the issue. I have linked a few pictures here:
This is the home page and can be found on the following link: https://nordberg-mode.dk/
(I have set this collection grid to portrait mode so you can see how the picture is cut off)
This is one of the product pages, that includes both a product with a widened and heightened product-image. It can be found on this link: https://nordberg-mode.dk/collections/populaere-valg-tilbud
The setting used for this collection is “adapt to image”.
Best regards, Clemens
