Hello
I would like to change the theme of my page, my question is If I wanted to change from one free theme to another, do I have to build the entire page from scratch? 
or does it adapt automatically.

When you change from one free theme to another in Shopify, you don’t have to build your entire page from scratch, but there are several things to keep in mind:

  • Content Migration: Your content, such as products, collections, pages, and blog posts, will remain intact. This data is independent of the theme and will automatically appear in the new theme.

  • Theme-specific Customizations: Customizations specific to your current theme, such as settings, styles, and custom code changes, will not automatically transfer to the new theme. You’ll need to reconfigure these settings in the new theme.

  • Apps and Integrations: Most apps will continue to work after a theme change, but some may require adjustments or reinstallation to ensure they integrate correctly with the new theme.

  • Navigation and Menus: Navigation menus generally carry over, but you may need to reassign them within the new theme settings.

  • Images and Media: All images and media files uploaded to your Shopify store will be available in the new theme. However, you might need to reposition or resize them to fit the new theme layout.
