Changing payment method when order amount reached the limit

Hello there, okay so i am working on this website where they are selling bridal outfits.
I want to add a feature where NO COD (cash on delivery) on orders above 30,000 , if the client selects any article of worth 30,000 or more then automatically they will have options of Bank Transfer, Credit Card etc and the COD option get disabled. Help needed

Thank you for your question.

It would not be possible to restrict the availability of a payment method you offer in your store per product.

You would have to consider not offering the COD option at all or offering it to all items for all price ranges.

The alternative option is leaving a message for your COD customers explaining that orders placed using this method will only be honored if they meet your criteria in terms of the products there are buying.

can this be achieved by doing any sort of backend customization on checkout?

If your store is located in India, you can used Advanced COD app and limit COD by price.
