Hello! I want to change the page where a customer is redirected to, when they click the BUY NOW button on my webpage (attrevida.com). Instead of following the typical Shopify checkout flow, I would like to send my customers to another page that already exists within my same domain (https://attrevida.com/pages/metodos-de-pago). Is this possible? Thanks in advance!
Hey as far as I know, that’s not possible. That is part of the standard workflow.
I would believe that the majority of users would expect this behaviour after clicking on a buy button. I could also imagine that they would only be confused if they didn’t get redirected as expected.
May I ask for the purpose? Maybe there could be another solution for this.
Sure! As more than 90% of our sales were coming from other platforms, we changed our plan to Pause and Build to improve our website. Even though this plan allows customers to navigate through our website, an error message appears when they click BUY NOW, as customers can’t buy in Pause and Build plan. We would like to modify this mesagge in order to indicate the current sales channels, while we make our website modifications. This is the message that is appearing:
Maybe it would be an option to hide or disable the add to cart button?
