Checkout Button Spelled wrong in Dawn Theme Cart Page

This is something so small, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix it.

I am using the Dawn Theme and the “checkout” button on my cart page has a space in the word so it reads

“Check out”. It’s driving my grammar loving heart nuts. It’s the automatic default for the Dawn theme and I would like to remove the space so it reads “Checkout”. I have scoured the forums and have gone line-by-line in the code and I cannot find a fix for this. (attaching a picture for reference)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can change it in the code editing section of your theme.

1. On the theme listing page in the Actions dropdown button select “Edit code”
2. Find and open the “en.default.json” file in the “Locales” directory
3. Find the “Check out” string and edit it as you wish
4. Save the file
