Checkout-ui-extention : Customizing with app blocks is not available for this page

Hello,

I developed an app with a checkout ui extension banner following the tutorial in the documentation.

I deployed it on my store.

Then I followed the instructions in the documentation to add the block banner to the checkout

“Settings > Checkout > Customize”

and instead of finding Add an app block

I get this message :

Customizing with app blocks is not available for this page.

Can you help me understand why I can’t add an app block?

PS : I’ve checked that my app is installed in : Settings > Apps and sales channels

I have the same problem.

I thought it was because of the plan or the application I was developing, but it doesn’t even work with the example applications.

You need to create a new Shopify dev store but select Checkout and Customer Accounts Extensibility developer preview.
