Chrageback Reversal on Store that is closed. Bank account also closed

I just received an email from Shopify that a chargeback was reversed. I closed my store back in April. After the chargeback, I closed the account. Now I am being told that the reversal will be paid out to my account on the next payout. The bank account is closed. What are my payout options to receive this reversal on a closed store?

@Rep_Tees

If an amount is due to be paid out to you, then our teams will use the banking information we have on the account. If the account is closed, then it would take up to 10 days for the bank to reject and send us back the funds. At that time, we can try sending the funds to another account.

In this case, I would recommend contacting Shopify Support as they can authenticate your store and reach out to our Billing team for further guidance on how we can update your banking information.

Trevor,

Is there a direct support email? When I try to fill out the contact form, it is asking for an active store. Since my store has been closed, it doesn’t seem to allow me to contact support.

Thank you!

You’ll want to use the option “Continue without logging in” to access our support as we do not offer a direct support email.
