I need help editing my ‘Add to Cart’ text, it is not editable through the theme. I was told that it needed to be edited within the code?
I believe you can change the text from co te t settings from your customizer. So click the three dots beside your live theme, from the list of options that appear select default content settings. You will be redirected to a page within customizer where you can search for add to cart button text and change the text accordingly.

If the Add to cart text belongs to the default theme, then you can edit that text from the store admin > Sales channels > Online store > Themes > click “…” in the current theme > Edit default theme content > search Add to cart, edit text and click Save button.
If that button belongs to customized code you added to your theme then you must edit text in that code.
