Collection banner image on collection page - dawn theme

Hi

i am using dawn theme and my collection featured image shows right on home page but on collection page same image is corped.

is there any way i can diisplay full image on the side of the text OR use another banner image on collection page ?

here is how its looking right now.

it is because the image is in portrait size and the text is not much if you enter the more text the image will be shown large according to the text limit. If you want to show the full image without increasing the text limit, you can write a piece of the code but it will increase the banner height too much for showing large image.

Please add this code to your theme.liquid file after element in Online Store > Themes > Edit code

You mean display full image banner collection page and align image like all product item in collection page. You can follow step here:

Step 1: Online Stores > Themes > Edit code

Step 2: Choose file theme.liquid,
Step 3: Add code above the tag

Hi @elegancethreads the reason image in banner homepage not show full is the width and the height disproportionate.
Currently we have 2 solution:

  1. You can add code below: ( The code will help you image above appears, a portion below will be cut off )
  1. You need upload image again with background image width more. It will help you display objects fully

Hope my solution will help you resolve that issue.

one more question: zoom

I have a problem with dawn theme, my products on mobile on ipad are shown full page when click on zoom on ipad or mobile phone.

theme setting for product page are set to show thumbnails on mobile and ‘click and hover’ for zoom settings.

seems that only you could provide a code fix for this, would be great.

Thank you. Iam so sorry. I don’t seem to understand what you mean by this issue. I have checked that when I click on it it enlarges. Do you want to make it different, can you describe the issue in more detail?

Oh ok , when you open it the image on mobile , it open in full screen stacked one after another when we click to zoom it . It should open the way it opens on desktop ,

Oke thank you, I got it. You mean type open image zoom in mobile should like type open image zoom in desktop. Iam so sorry, because this is desgin of theme, I dont can change it because to fix it need change the structure of the theme. Maybe you need contact support theme will help you better.
