You can use the Multiple column section instead of or will need to customize the code of the collection list section to upload custom images.

You can upload the custom image for the collection here.
If you haven’t uploaded the collection image, the system will default to displaying product images.

Something that you could try is to use the new “Generate Blocks” feature that Shopify just introduced. Basically you can ask Shopify’s AI to generate a custom section for you.
