I am uploading for the first time products to my new sore using csv files and shopify features. I have created manual collections during this action together with regular product creation. Then I took an export of what I have loaded. I realised “Collection” field is missing in the export file. Can somebody help on this?
There is no condition for the collections yet.

As far as I know, when you use export product data feature from Shopify, it typically includes basic information about each product but does not include a “Collections” field. This is because products and collections are separate entities within the Shopify system
To retrieve information about the collections associated with each product, you would need the expertise of a programmer experienced in working with Shopify or a similar platform. They can utilize data retrieval methods provided by Shopify to access and analyze the data as needed.

This is interesting discovery. This means if I want to use the export file as an input file after correcting staff I need to recreate the collections column each time. Is my understanding correct?
