This may just be operator error but I am building my shopify store on the Dawn theme and I started listing products. I was able to change the Compare Price a few weeks ago and in went back in to do it today but it’s no where to be found. They are telling me to look in the price section but all I see is the variant s section and under that I see a price I can change but not the Compare price, only the regular price. Am I in the wrong place for the compare price?
Also, I have my website with password-only access at the moment since I’m still building it.
Yeah, been there The “Compare at price” option can be sneaky. When you’re adding a product, it should show up right under the regular price, but only if you’re editing the main product (not inside a variant).
If you’re only seeing the price field under a variant, try scrolling up and checking the main product section or click “Edit” next to the variant, that’s usually where it pops up again.
Also, your password mode won’t affect that setting, so you’re good there!
