Conditions For Shopify Variants

Is there any app that can handle conditions for variants? I am looking to work with sizes like Small, Medium & Large. Firstly, it will have 2 buttons Stitched & Unstitched. On selection of stitched the options for sizes will appear which are Small, Medium & Large. On selection of unstitched no variants should appear.

Please note that the app must have the following features:

1. Price update on selection of Variants

2. SKU must be updated on selection of sizes

3. Inventory or stock count must be updated as well if the order of that particular variant is placed.

If there is no app that handles all these conditions then I am comfortable in working with the code as well.

What your describing is commonly done with advanced theme customizations where unavailable/disabled options are simply hidden with CSS.

Conceptually this is also like a combined listing , theme customization or app, where it’s multiple products acting like a single product.

The first-party combined listing app is for shopify-Plus only, but you can research other apps on the app store under the product-options category.

This behavior may also be called ‘sibling products’ or product-families etc etc, as keywords by apps or even theme features, etc.

I would like to suggest a solution for your case using the Easify Product Options app. Here is an example setup for you to consider :

• Create product A that includes only the Stitch option (2 variants: Stitched & Unstitched).

• Create another product B that includes only the Size option (3 variants: S, M, L, each with different SKUs and prices). This product will be used as an Add-on Product (Size options) for product A. Product B must be active for purchase but can be hidden from search on your store.

• Install the app and create a new option set.

• Create the Size option, using an appropriate option type such as Buttons. Then, link these Size options with product B’s Size variants.

• Set advanced conditional logic so that the Size options only appear if customers select the “Stitched” variant of product A.

• Add the option set to product A, and you’re done.
