CSV File import from supplier to shopify platform for prices and track quantity. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to use the date feed SCV File from supplier to import into my shopify store. The more i google, the more it gets confusing. I hope someone can help in a simplified way. Fingers Crossed.

If you’re receiving a CSV from another platform, and you want to upload it to Shopify to update product data, you’re likely going to need to create a script to transform the CSV to match the format that Shopify expects. How that script would be structured depends on how the CSV from your supplier is formatted. There may also be a way to automate the process so that uploads are scheduled at regular times.
How do they send you the CSV file? We have a workflow automation template for importing from FTP:
Whatever format they’re sending it in, I should be able to build out a workflow to pull it in for you.
I am receiving a csv file from my supplier. I believe i have to open this in google sheets and do the same for my exported file from my shopify products. If i use the header columns from either the sample template from shopify or my exported file from shopify products, i have to format the supplier file to match shopify. I hope this makes sense to you. Can you tell me if i am on the right track please.
