We sell wine and need to add fields that are searchable. We don’t want the fields in the description. We were told by the hired site developer Shopify only allows ONE product field. We find this hard to believe.
We have searched the community threads with no success. We need to be able to add the following fields:

You need to use meta fields which lets you add many fields unique for each product.
Please bear in mind that meta field will allow you to show the values but it is not searchable by default. You will need to hire a Shopify developer to create that feature.
But will that show up on the product page in the browser? I thought meta fields were for behind the scenes.
