Should i change my customer accounts url to match my domain?

if i do so, will anything else break? Such as google ads, or my google tag etc..

If you are using the legacy customer account, you can change the URL but if you are using the New customer account, you won’t be able to change it.

Please note: You need to follow below steps after adding new URL.

  • Set up 301 redirects in Shopify for any old URLs that will be changing.
  • Update Google Ads with the new URLs to avoid broken ad links.
  • Verify Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics track the new URLs.
