Wholesale-only Shopify store needs a button on product pages that lets logged-in customers temporarily hide/reveal the product price when showing items to retail shoppers.
Initial replies misunderstood the request (removing a button or revealing price after email subscription). The requirement is to add a price-adjacent toggle that only affects on-screen display, not checkout or account permissions.
Outcome: The store had this implemented by an app developer (DigitalCoo, creators of Wholesale All‑in‑One) as a paid customization. A video demo was shared and confirms the hide/show price toggle works as intended. (Video link is central to understanding the solution.)
Additional guidance: This behavior isn’t supported natively by Shopify; it requires custom JavaScript or an app. An alternative app suggestion was provided (Madgic Hide Price) to control price visibility without modifying checkout logic.
Status: Resolved for the store via a custom/app solution. For others, viable paths are:
Custom JS to add a hide/show price toggle on product pages.
Using a third-party app to manage price visibility rules.

We are a wholesale only store. Every customer must be logged in to access our collections and products to place orders.
What we now know is many of our wholesale customers use or want to use our site for their retail customers to see the products too and make selections which our wholesale customer will order in. But they don’t want their wholesale price to show on this screen for obvious reason.
Ideally what we would like to do is have a button next to the price that our wholesale customers can click that would hide/reveal the price at their discretion.
Can anyone help with this? If there is a cost for an expert to do this…I’m listening!
Thank you but I do not wish to REMOVE a button… I wish to ADD a button. And to place that button next to the price of each product page and for the button to hide/reveal the price. Can you do this?
no thats not what i mean. let me explain it from the lens of the retail customer.
You walk into a shop and ask about something they dont have on the shelf, but the supplier of the shop has it. The shopkeeper then logs into the suppliers website, finds a product and then on the same screen shows this to the retail customer. In this scenario, the retail customer will see what the shopkeeper pays (cost price) for the items they are showing.
So essentially, I want a function to hide the price for when our customers (shopkeepers) show their customers product on our website.
If you visit any shopify product page, you will see a price for the product. i want a button next to it that makes the price hidden if our customer (shopkeepers) use it. They can click the button again to reveal the price as it was before.
